Dawn founded Supporting Strategies | Twin Cities South in 2014 with the goal of helping small businesses grow and thrive. She brings to her clients an efficient, detail-oriented perspective combined with a deep knowledge of the subtleties of tax reporting, financial operations, and accounting. She hopes that by providing top-notch bookkeeping and controller services in the Twin cities she can make a difference in her community and help local businesses succeed.
Dawn has been working in the growing profession of accounting for over 20 years. A Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks Online, she is particularly skilled in understanding the complexities of job costing and classes/locations within QuickBooks Online.
Dawn is a member of the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce and is active in her community, volunteering in youth sports and serving as a Treasurer for a nonprofit corporation. She’s also an enthusiastic football fan.

When you partner with Supporting Strategies, you are assigned a support team comprised of both a Financial Operations Manager and a Financial Operations Associate, as well as access to our Support Desk. By partnering with Supporting Strategies, you gain access to years of collective business experience. Our average team member has about 10 years of professional experience. Amy Brady
Financial Operations Associate
Amy is a diligent accountant with over 25 years of experience in accounting and payroll with a passion for working with non-profit clients. She enjoys using her experience and knowledge to better our clients. Prior to Supporting Strategies, Amy worked as an Accountant for a global CPA firm and continues to help a non-profit school in her community. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Iowa State University.
Kourtney Bryan
Financial Operations Manager
Kourtney is an accounting professional with corporate and small business experience. She has strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the area of financial analysis. Her strong business acumen is key in understanding the business issues our clients may be facing.
Prior to Supporting Strategies, Kourtney worked as an Accountant, Controller, and Consultant for global leading companies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University.

Elaine Kates
Financial Operations Associate
Elaine is a licensed CPA who has worked in full cycle transactional accounting for almost all her career. She brings a wide variety of experiences and held varying roles up to a Controller. Clients love her initial representation, and her client-facing skills display her strong and clear connection with our clients.
Prior to Supporting Strategies, Elaine was an Accountant for several Corporations and started her career as an Audit Senior Accountant at a Big Four accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
Zankhana Shah
Financial Operations Manager
Zankhana (Z), an accounting professional, has expertise in areas such as preparing financial reports, analyzing the variances, periodic account closures with full responsibility for AR/AP, budgeting and forecasting and efficient client communications and support. Through her bookkeeping services and financial background, she enjoys applying her skills to help small businesses grow and prosper.
Prior to Supporting Strategies, Zankhana served as a Financial Controller at an IT consulting firm for over a decade and started her career as a consultant at a “Big 4” accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of Texas.
Deanna Survillas
Sr. Financial Operations Associate
Deanna is an accounting professional with expertise in areas such as Financial and Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Profitability and Net Revenue Analysis. Through her professional background, her key attributes and strengths are communication skills, her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond for a client.
Prior to Supporting Strategies, Deanna worked for accounting and consulting firms and provided virtual CFO and Controller services to clients throughout the USA. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.
