A versatile accountant who has worked both for herself and for others, Amanda has broad experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable and tax preparation. She has also implemented bookkeeping, client relationship management, enterprise resource planning and project workflow systems.
Before joining Supporting Strategies, Amanda spent eight years at a consulting firm that specialized in engineering solutions. She began in accounts receivable, directing a staff that was responsible for more than $2.2 million in client invoices each month. She was then promoted to Revenue Accountant, acquiring additional responsibilities that included auditing project budget summaries, the general ledger and monthly/quarterly financials.
Amanda began her accounting career as an Administrative Tax Assistant for a CPA, managing web-based digital document software for an average of 1,500 client tax filings annually. She has also been a self-employed Accountant for various small businesses.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is proficient in QuickBooks, the Microsoft Office suite, ProSystems fx Tax, Deltek ERP, Star Practice Management and Citrix.
