Amy has extensive high-level experience with both finance and administration in industries ranging from banking to private industry to public education.
From 2005 to 2017, Amy served as Director of Finance of the Bayfield (Colorado) School District. There, she compiled and communicated all financial reporting to multiple stakeholders in conformity with both GAAP and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. She performed with such distinction that in 2016, she became Acting (later Interim) Superintendent for the 1,300-student, 200-employee school district. In that role, she oversaw a $20 million budget as well as bond projects totaling more than $50 million.
Earlier in her career, Amy held positions including Controller at Dial Oil Company, Audit Manager at KPMG and Personal Banker at Union Bank & Trust Company.
Amy earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting Emphasis from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She also graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Colorado School of Education and Human Development's Executive Leadership Licensure Program.
