A versatile professional who can work remotely, onsite or via Skype, Barbara has a skillset tailored for the modern business climate. She has performed the full spectrum of bookkeeping services for a wide range of clients.
Before joining Supporting Strategies, Barbara was a Financial Consultant/Senior Accountant at a professional services firm. Her assignments included reconciling a college’s accounts in preparation for an audit and transitioning a glass company to QuickBooks Premier, along with setting up payroll and job costing.
Prior to that, Barbara was an Accounting Manager at a sports and entertainment startup, where she worked remotely as well as onsite at different locations. In addition to her bookkeeping responsibilities, she supervised an Administrative Assistant and provided HR management. Her previous positions include Accounting Manager/Controller at a building and restoration contractor.
Barbara has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, with a minor in Business Administration, from Ashford University. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and proficient in a variety of other relevant software applications.
