Beth brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting to Supporting Strategies. She spent the majority of her career working for Corning Inc. where she held many positions during her 14 year tenure. She began as the Controller of Home Office Accounting where she was responsible for the consolidation and reconciliation of the corporate ledger. She then moved to the treasury division as a Senior Treasury Analyst. In this role she supported several key projects and ensured proper accounting for treasury activities. Beth was then promoted to the role of Treasury Operations Manager where she was responsible for supervising global cash operations. Next, Beth obtained her Six Sigma Green Belt certification and moved to the role of Performance Excellence Manager for Finance. In this role Beth worked with senior leadership to develop a strategy, build foundational systems and train the finance organization. She also coached project teams throughout finance on how to use continuous improvement and Lean tools to streamline processes.
Before working for Corning Beth held roles as an Accounting Supervisor at a private bank, a Senior Auditor with PWC and an Assistant Controller at a small manufacturer. Beth has a BS in Management and MS in Accounting from Bentley University.
