In more than 15 years as an Accountant, Controller and Chief Financial Officer, Cynthia has provided the best service in managing and presenting financial information for every organization she has worked for. Her accomplishments include reducing bad debt by $250,000 in a single year; increasing profit margin from 35% to 60% and converting 70 franchise owners to a standardized accounting module using QuickBooks.
Before joining Supporting Strategies in 2018, Cynthia served as a CFO/Controller on long-term projects for various clients, including Proper Group International, a tooling and engineering company that specializes in automotive components, and Blue Rock Financial. Earlier, she had worked on a contract basis for such diverse organizations as Habitat for Humanity (Controller) and Olympia Entertainment/Detroit Red Wings (Financial Analyst). Also, as Controller/MIS Manager, she was integral in helping to open the Country Club of Coral Gables in 2003.
Cynthia has a Bachelor of Accounting from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business. She is proficient in more than 20 relevant software applications, including QuickBooks, Great Plains, Hyperion, Yardi, SAP and Crystal Report.
