Dan, who brings 15 years of progressive experience in auditing and financial management, has a knack for developing solutions to complex business problems. He takes pride in building relationships between financial and operational management personnel and in supporting companies' overall goals of growth and profitability.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Dan owned and operated a firm providing accounting and tax solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in the Kansas City area. Before that, he was Chief Financial Officer at an online university, where he assisted the President in crafting budgets, preparing for the annual audit and managing various financial issues. He also had an extended stay with a $1.5 billion pork processor, where he rose from Accounting Inventory Control Supervisor to Corporate Controller.
Dan also has extensive academic experience, having designed, developed and taught accounting and finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dan holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Missouri and a Certified Management Accountant.
