ELIZABETH HERWIG, BS

Elizabeth has consistently delivered expert accounting and finance support in fast-paced, complex settings. She thrives in challenging, customer-facing environments, seamlessly supporting multiple managers and departments.

Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Elizabeth held part-time bookkeeper roles for a fuel delivery business and a livestock technology business. Working for the businesses simultaneously, she handled full-scale bookkeeping responsibilities and fulfilled key sales/customer service functions.

At a nonprofit residential services organization, Elizabeth earned a series of promotions, from Administrative Assistant to Accounts Payable and Payroll Coordinator and, ultimately, to Staff Accountant and Billing Coordinator. Besides having duties related to accounting, financial analysis, budget and payroll, she trained and supervised a bookkeeping assistant. During that period, as a part-time Bookkeeper, she also managed accounts payable, payroll and budget functions for a freight shipping and trucking company and for a church.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Albright College and an Associate of Science in Liberal Studies from Montgomery County Community College.
