Ida is a proven "big picture" strategist who understands that a successful business requires not only a viable concept and marketing strategy, but also a solid foundation of fiscal management and accountability. She became Managing Director of Supporting Strategies | South Florida in 2018.
With over 20 years aligning operational and strategic changes with technology changes, Ida has deep experience driving company growth. Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Ida was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at a Florida engineering firm. There, she collaborated with the management team to develop the operational infrastructure and processes, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems that would produce measurable results. Previously, she was the VP of Administration & Marketing at a Florida consulting firm. Under her leadership, accounts receivable turnover increased by 75%, revenue by 50%, cash flow by 35% and operating income by 25%.
Earlier in her career, Ida was instrumental in launching a pair of startup companies and also spent almost two decades working for Fortune 50 telecom equipment manufacturers where she played key roles in sales, marketing, business development, and engineering. She has extensive experience selling and marketing to Latin American and Caribbean customers.
Ida holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and also graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
