In addition to her command of full-charge bookkeeping responsibilities, Joeleen excels in working across departments, managing customer and vendor relationships and training employees. She can apply complex accounting concepts in ways that are not only beneficial, but also user-friendly for the client.
Before joining Supporting Strategies, Joeleen was a Staff Accountant for a large U.S. government nonprofit. She collaborated with teams across the organization to implement processes that would keep pace with increased workloads. At the same time, she streamlined the payables process, shortening it by two days. She also created training documents for entry-level accounting tasks.
Joeleen began her career at an accounting and business-management software company that generated more than $20 million in annual revenue. She worked as an Accounts Receivable Representative there and later spent four years as a Credit Representative, reducing the turnaround time for the credit review process by about 30%.
Joeleen has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from California State University, Fullerton. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
