Katherine is an accounting professional and astute problem-solver with over three decades of experience improving processes and systems. Businesses have counted on her to optimize operations, increase revenue and gain a competitive edge.
Prior to Supporting Strategies, Katherine advanced the success of companies across sectors as President of a tax and accounting firm. Among her many responsibilities, she helped clients establish accounting and inventory systems, trained staff on their application, analyzed financial statements to identify improvements, incorporated businesses and maintained corporate books and files.
As an Accountant with a defense contractor, Katherine provided guidance for revenue and shipment targets, analyzed revenue variances to the financial plan, offered recommendations for process improvements and more. She made similar contributions in her previous roles as Financial Analyst with a membership organization for auditors, Cost Accountant for manufacturing businesses and Staff Accountant for a certified public accounting firm.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rockford University. She also completed coursework in accounting and jazz studies at Loyola University New Orleans.
