Kevin complements his over 20 years of experience as a small-business owner with superior organizational skills and attention to detail. He's well-positioned to help Supporting Strategies’ clients meet their bookkeeping challenges and take their businesses to the next level.
Prior to joining our team, Kevin owned and operated a surplus store. His accounting background helped him in measuring productivity and performance data as well as identifying opportunities to reduce costs. He also gained valuable experience in determining goods to be sold and price points based on forecasts of customer demand.
Earlier in his career, Kevin owned a CPA firm. In addition to performing a full range of accounting functions, he specialized in using data analysis to assist school districts and other government entities in detecting deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud or noncompliance with laws or regulations. He also completed and submitted tax forms and returns, workers' compensation forms and other government documents.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from William Jewell College.
