Kim brings over two decades of accounting experience along with a strong work ethic and superb organizational and leadership skills.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Kim owned and operated a firm providing remote bookkeeping and accounting services to small businesses. She kept clients' books up to date, collaborated with their CPAs and helped migrate books to QuickBooks Online, among other responsibilities.
Concurrently, Kim managed the accounts receivable for a trucking company, where she invoiced clients for products and materials, reconciled the intercompany transactions among the three related companies and more. Her previous roles include Director of Finance for a professional employer organization, Chief Financial Officer at a construction company, Assistant Controller with an interior specialty contractor and Controller/Office Manager for a general contractor.
Kim holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina Upstate and an Associate of Science in Accounting from Johnson and Wales University.
