Lelicia brings high-level experience in full cycle accounting in both the public and private accounting sectors. She specializes in full charge bookkeeping, month-end close procedures and account reconciliations. Her other areas of expertise include accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, variance analysis and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Lelicia was Lead Accounting Specialist for an accounting and tax firm serving small and medium-sized businesses. There, she conducted full cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, month-end close, variance analysis and account reconciliations. Her responsibilities also included analyzing financial statements, compiling GAAP-compliant reports and processing and documenting payroll.
Previously, Lelicia was an Accounting Specialist for an auto group, where she processed month- and year-end close, posted journal entries and kept accounts payable up to date, among other duties. She began her professional career as a General Accounting Clerk with another auto group.
Lelicia earned her Master of Science in Accountancy from Georgia Southern University and her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
