Over a career spanning more than 30 years and multiple senior leadership positions, Margaret has built a deep understanding of small to medium-sized businesses' accounting needs and operational challenges. She has a history of applying her expertise to improve systems and increase profits for employers and clients.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies in 2018, Margaret worked as an Accountant with D'Agostino and Mazzone, a provider of tax, accounting and business consulting services. There, her responsibilities spanned QuickBooks, bookkeeping, and preparing and reviewing quarterly payroll tax returns, financial statements and year-end tax returns.
Earlier in her career, Margaret spent over three years as an Independent Consultant, which involved analyzing overhead costs, developing annual budgets, evaluating new business opportunities, establishing policies and procedures, and more. Other previous roles included Controller, Accounting Manager and Director of Finance for various organizations.
Margaret earned her Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management (graduating with distinction) along with her Master of Education in Early Childhood and Bachelor of Arts in Education from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
