Marlene is a senior accounting professional who excels at leading teams and projects, identifying process improvement needs and implementing solutions. Through her understanding of best practices in operations and human resources management, she has elevated the business practices of private, public and nonprofit organizations.
A creative problem-solver with strong technical and communication skills, Marlene previously managed the financial and bookkeeping needs of 11 elementary schools for an educational system. Reporting to the CFO as Accounting Manager, she supported a wide range of human resources functions, maintained general ledgers and financial statements, oversaw month-end close and accounts receivable and prepared journals and reconciliations.
