Mary has an impressive depth of experience in accounting and auditing. She has held operational and supervisory roles across a range of industries, including not-for-profit, audit, banking and energy.
Before joining Supporting Strategies in 2018, Mary was Accounting Manager at New Danville, a not-for-profit community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Reporting directly to the president, Mary was responsible for all accounting and financial reporting functions. She also managed the Human Resources department, which encompassed 25 employees.
Mary began her career as an Auditor at Arthur Young & Co. (which became a part of Ernst & Young). She later became an Accounting Supervisor at First Gibraltar Bank, FSB, and also spent four years as an Accounting Contractor.
Mary has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
