Maryam has extensive knowledge of the processes, technologies and interpersonal skills required to successfully navigate government contracts. She excels in both supervisory and supporting roles, and brings all requisite computer skills (including Deltek GCS Premier) and training certifications.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Maryam worked remotely as an Assistant Controller for various government contractors. Her responsibilities included preparing and posting commercial contract billings each month; setting up new contracts, labor categories and billing rates; and working with government electronic invoicing systems.
As a government contracting specialist, Maryam also held positions including Accountant, Accounting Manager, Payroll/Accounts Payable Supervisor, and Accounting and Operations Manager. Earlier in her career, she was an Accounts Supervisor with a corporation that provided software solutions to financial services and IT companies.
Maryam holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting with CPA Review from Devry University's Keller Graduate School of Management. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Strayer University, where she majored in Database Administration (Oracle) and minored in Accounting.
