Melissa Mays, BS

A member of the Supporting Strategies team since 2018, Melissa has two decades of bookkeeping experience along with a proven ability to work independently or with a team.

From 1998 to 2018, Melissa served as a Bookkeeper for excavation contractor Kenneth L. Mays and Sons. Her responsibilities spanned accounts payable/receivable, payroll and sales support. The last two of those years, she worked concurrently as a Staff Accountant for CPA firm DT & Company, PLC, where she provided a variety of payroll and bookkeeping services for multiple clients.

Melissa also held the position of Administrative Assistant/Sales for Associated Church Furnishings from 1991 to 2002, handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, customer service and other administrative duties.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Finance from Liberty University and an Associate of Arts degree from Central Virginia Community College.
