Melissa is a skilled bookkeeper and office manager who is experienced in a wide range of financial processes, procedures and transactions. Her career spans a variety of industries, which highlights her adaptability and wide-ranging knowledge.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Melissa was Bookkeeper and Office Manager for a general contracting and property management company. There, she managed account payable and accounts receivable, issued payroll and 1099s and performed monthly reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and commercial loans. In addition, she created and dispersed construction payouts, completed annual insurance audits and prepared end-of-year tax filings.
Melissa has served in a number of other roles. As Assistant Property Manager for a property management company, real estate company and title company, she had a financial focus and oversaw all accounting work. During an extended stay as a Bookkeeper with a consulting group, she completed all bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. She has also held several other positions with bookkeeping responsibilities.
Melissa earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Graphic Design from Robert Morris University.
