Penie is a keen analyst and problem-solver who brings over 25 years of accounting and operations experience to her role at Supporting Strategies.
Most recently, Penie worked as a Bookkeeping Consultant who served small businesses and nonprofit organizations and delivered full-spectrum accounting services. Prior to that, she focused on optimization of work efficiencies as a Special Projects Analyst. She developed and implemented standard operating procedures, led meetings, ran reports and analyzed data to advance company goals.
Earlier in her career, Penie served as Controller/Operations Manager for an independent insurance agency. Her oversight of accounting and financial functions earned the agency accolades for ease of transition when another entity purchased the business. Her other roles include Supervisor General Ledger/Accounts Payable for an insurance company, Staff Accountant for three public accounting firms and Senior Revenue Accountant for an oil company.
Penie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Loyola University of Chicago.
