Rose is an experienced accountant with deep knowledge of bookkeeping and operations management. Well organized and a self-starter, she is an ideal fit for small businesses.
Before joining Supporting Strategies, Rose worked as an Accountant for a tax-preparation service and a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a business-services provider. Her responsibilities in these roles included reconciling accounts, making monthly journal entries and preparing books for a CPA.
Rose has also held several full-time and contract positions. As Payroll Lead for a transportation firm, she oversaw all aspects of payroll services, including answering inquiries from both state and federal tax agencies, for the organization's 22 separate companies. In addition, she has been Operations Manager at a manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting systems; Staff Accountant at a pharmaceutical consultant; Bookkeeper/Business Manager for a CPA; and Assistant Controller at a financing company.
Rose has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Briarcliffe College and an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Nassau Community College.
