A highly accomplished finance and accounting professional, Steve brings a diverse background of over 30 years working in a variety of industries from start-ups to high growth to turn-around organizations. He spent the first half of his career with General Electric where he held progressive leadership roles ranging from Auditor to Vice President of Finance and Planning. Following GE, Steve held several senior finance positions including working as CFO for The Official Information Company- a data based media business-to-business firm. In this capacity he managed all financial functions for five subsidiaries and corporate consolidations.
Most recently, Steve founded and managed a small real estate brokerage firm where he serves as both designated broker and treasurer helping with bookkeeping, tax preparation, operational and capital budgeting and financial reporting.
He earned his MBA in General Management and Finance from the University of Nebraska. Steve has served as a board member and treasurer for several nonprofit Homeowner’s Associations and as a volunteer for the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Coconino National Forest, Red Rock Ranger District. An avid reader, he is also an alternate trustee at the Hampstead Public Library and previously a trustee at the Sedona Public Library.
