Before joining Supporting Strategies, Susan was Chief Financial Officer at a startup that specialized in materials manufacturing technology. She was responsible for designing, developing and implementing all phases of the accounting architecture, including providing data to auditors to complete IRS Form 990. The company ultimately earned $30 million in annual revenue.
Earlier in her career, Susan was Director of Finance at a nonprofit energy innovation company, where she managed payroll and benefits for a staff of 30 while also leading external audits and reviewing procedures to ensure compliance with best accounting practices. She has also been a Controller with the responsibility of training staff accountants and a senior accountant at a CPA firm.
Susan has a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance (minor in Accounting) from Wayne State University. She also holds an Associate of Commerce from Henry Ford College, where she majored in business.
