Thomas has over a decade of direct recruiting experience, both at search firms and within various industries. He excels at building positive relationships not only with candidates, but also with team members, fellow managers and C-level executives. His well-established network is extensive.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Thomas spent just shy of seven years as the Director of Organizational Development and Talent Acquisition for a company that provided IT consulting and senior services. Managing a five-member team, he created a key performance indicator-driven recruiting operation for an organization of more than 1,500 people across multiple locations. He also helped shape the firm's culture through manager training and company events.
Thomas began his career as a Technical Recruiter and Account Manager. He's also been an Assistant Account Executive for an infrastructure solutions provider, an Area Manager for an entertainment company and a Recruiter for search groups in engineering, human resources, IT and healthcare.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Eastern Illinois University, with an emphasis on interpersonal, organizational public relations.
