Liz Spencer is redefining local programming as the Executive Director of Naperville Community Television.
Spencer’s innovative approach to programming launched Naperville News 17, Naperville’s only televised news program; and Naperville Sports Weekly, an ESPN-styled high school sports program.
Spencer’s television production experience ranges from live specials, to children’s programming, to talk shows, to documentaries.
Spencer is the recipient of numerous National Communicator awards, Naperville Jaycees’ Distinguished Service Award, and a Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit of the Year Award. Prior to coming to NCTV17, Spencer received many accolades, including an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Arts & Sciences for a live awards show.
She brought her Emmy award-winning knowledge to Naperville, and has led the way for NCTV17 to become true community television, connecting Naperville through engaging video storytelling.
