Jamie was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney on a golf scholarship. After two years, he transferred to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he graduated with a Business Administration degree emphasizing in Finance/Economics. Jamie played professional golf for 4 years on the NGA/Hooters Tour, Moonlight and Buy.Com Tours. After golf, he managed four different multimillion dollar businesses that provided high quality service to clients for five years. As a Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Jamie works with individuals, families, businesses and institutions to help them grow, manage, preserve and transition their wealth. He resides in Ponte Vedra with his wife, Dr. Lynsey Seim and their two girls, Peyton and Raegan.

Jamie supports and volunteers for many charities in the areas of cancer, education and the environment. He co-chaired and helped create the first ever All Council Community Involvement Project for the JAX Chamber in 2014. In 2012, he was recognized as the Volunteer Service Award winner by Wells Fargo.

 In 2016, Jamie was featured among the Jacksonville Business Journal's 40 under 40.
