Upon graduating from Washington University in 1975, David began his financial career at the Chicago Board of Trade and eventually transitioned to the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he traded in the pits for 19 years. After leaving the trading world, David founded the BNC Venture Capital Group in 2006 which focuses on bringing together entrepreneurs and accredited investors and supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Chicago.
David is also the co-founder of the Midwest Emerging Tech Forum which focuses on supporting later-stage tech companies that are starting to scale. Every other month five tech companies get the opportunity to discuss current challenges and ask for help from an audience of over 100 business professionals.
The BNC Venture Capital Group introduces exciting investment opportunities to accredited investors. Each month three startups pitch to an audience of angels, venture capitalists, C-level executives, and other business professionals. Companies learn how to pitch, receive critical feedback from a sophisticated audience, and make valuable connections, investor or otherwise.
