Marques C. Lipton is an attorney at the law firm Parker & Lipton in Winchester, Massachusetts. He focuses his practice on representing individuals and small business in proceedings under Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Prior to joining Parker & Lipton he worked in boutique law firms in Boston where he also focused on bankruptcy law, as well as consumer protection matter. In addition, Mr. Lipton has represented many companies in debt restructurings and out of court workouts. Mr. Lipton is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy and business issues including at the 2016 New England Bankruptcy Law Conference, the 2015 and 2018 American Bankruptcy Institute Consumer Bankruptcy Forum and the 2020 Boston Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Bench Meets Bar conference. Mr. Lipton has published several articles on bankruptcy related topics including for the American Bankruptcy Institute, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and the Boston Bar Association. Mr. Lipton is a member of the Boston Bar Associations, Massachusetts Bar Association and American Bankruptcy Institute. He is a graduate of the New England School of Law and Southern Connecticut State University.
