Ben is an accomplished financial executive with a long track record of producing revenue increases, cost reductions and cash-flow improvements for employers and clients. A strong team leader with expertise including financial analysis and project management, he has experience spanning energy, construction, consulting, pharmaceuticals, real estate and recycling.
Prior to founding Supporting Strategies | Lehigh Valley in 2018, Ben spent two years with the international commercial real estate agency Newmark Grubb Knight Frank — first as a Consultant/Director, later as Senior Vice President Finance. His accomplishments included assuming an acquired CFO's duties, managing the conversion to the parent's ERP system, instituting corrective measures after uncovering non-GAAP accounting practices, and implementing and training personnel on enhanced internal A/R aging data collection and reporting.
Earlier in his career, Ben held positions including Business Manager — Finance for Matrix Service Industrial Partners, an energy construction company; Consultant and then Senior Manager at Buckeye Partners, a partnership that owns and operates a diversified network of integrated assets providing midstream logistic solutions; Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting for The Nielsen-Wurster Group, an engineering and dispute resolution firm; Regional Finance Director for a subsidiary of PSEG, a Fortune 200 public utility that provides post-acquisition analysis and financial leadership to 14 mechanical construction companies; and Controller for a small pharmaceutical research firm that included providing support for an IPO.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business.
