Bill has over 20 years of business and senior-level management experience. He has served as the Corporate Controller of the largest community banking organization headquartered in Virginia and led innovative technology and financial reporting teams in a Fortune 100 company.
Bill gained a breadth of accounting, auditing and risk management experience with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, GE and Deloitte. His clients included for-profit companies, manufacturing organizations, public companies, and not-for-profit and governmental entities.
In addition to a BS in Finance from Salisbury University, Bill holds a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a licensed CPA, member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Bill served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and was called to active duty during the first Gulf War. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching and cheering on his three daughters at basketball games, tennis matches, and swim meets. A firm advocate of physical fitness, he recently completed two Ironman triathlons and competed in several other competitive endurance sports activities. He also enjoys family time, networking, and volunteering with local charitable organizations. Previously, he served as president of CARITAS, Richmond's largest emergency shelter.
