After spending 24 years as an Accounting Supervisor, Financial Consultant and then Chief Financial Officer, Michael decided to apply his knowledge, network and expertise to help local businesses thrive. He launched Supporting Strategies | Jersey City in 2019.
Having spent 10 years as a CFO, Michael is keenly attuned to what small and mid-sized businesses need from an accounting and finance perspective. He brings deep experience in finance and operations integration, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, business expansion and consumer relations.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ramapo College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Financial Operations Associates are part of an Operations Team, allowing for cross-training and distributed workload coverage. This team approach enables us to scale to keep up with the demands of growing businesses.

A: Supporting Strategies provides a full range of bookkeeping and operational support services, including payroll administration. We also assist with benefits administration and with new hire/termination coordination and documentation.
