Steve is a finance and accounting veteran who excels in improving financial capabilities and efficiencies, ensuring financial integrity and transparency, and providing financial insights for quality decision making. He brings proven strengths in analyzing data to identify niches that will drive revenue growth and/or reduce expenses.
Prior to founding Supporting Strategies | Montgomery, Howard & Carroll Counties MD in 2018, Steve spent 18 years with the B2B information and marketing company Access Intelligence. He spent his last 10 years there as Vice President, Financial Planning and Internal Audit, where he was responsible for budgeting, quarterly forecasting and weekly revenue pacing for 100+ business units.
As Manager, Financial Analysis and Treasury at Dental Benefit Providers from 1999 to 2000, Steve ensured the company's smooth transition from existing accounting software to PeopleSoft financials after it was acquired by United Healthcare. Earlier in his career, he served as Accounting Manager at Thomas Publishing Company as well as Fund Accountant and then Senior Tax Accountant at Merrill Lynch.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting major) from Rider University. Currently, he is working toward his Master of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
