Dana is a highly skilled accounting professional with a history of leading accounting teams and providing accurate and timely financial reporting. She leverages her expertise in accounting systems, process improvements, performance management and internal controls to help companies and nonprofit organizations thrive. After years of successfully advising area businesses and nonprofit organizations from startups to established enterprises she launched Supporting Strategies | Minneapolis in 2019 to combine her love of accounting and her desire to bring a comprehensive bookkeeping solution to both businesses and nonprofit organizations in Minneapolis and the Brainerd Lakes area.
Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She has worked in a variety of industries at many Minnesota founded corporations. Dana is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Minnesota. She is active in her local community, she is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs, serves on the board of the Sherburne County Area United Way and supports the 4-H youth organization both as a volunteer and through financial donations.
