Jeffery is a finance and accounting expert with over 15 years of experience advising businesses on core operations. His many skills include full-cycle accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, auditing, accounting department "cleanup," and cash tracking and forecasting.
Prior to joining Supporting Strategies, Jeffery served multiple clients as Senior Accountant with a public accounting firm. He analyzed, planned and prepared monthly financial statements; prepared cash-flow reports and discussed forecast variances with clients; and helped clients streamline their businesses by improving upon outdated accounting methods.
As Accounting Manager for a university's $5.7M federal nutrition education grant, Jeffery analyzed and reported on grant expenses and payroll and revamped internal procedures and reports. Among his many accomplishments, he uncovered previously unknown system functions that created time savings and improved data collection. Earlier in his career, he implemented accounting, HR and inventory systems from the ground up for clients as Owner and Consultant with an independent controllership service. His other roles include Controller for an assisted living facility, CFO for a manufacturing and construction business and Senior Accountant for a manufacturing firm.
Jeffery holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
