Mo has led a unique career encompassing investment and risk management, front- and back-office management and entrepreneurship. His wide array of skills in managing small businesses spans areas such as accounting, operations, financial management, business development and overall leadership.
Mo spent the first two decades of his career in wealth and investment management. As Administrative Manager at Legg Mason Wood Walker, he directed the daily operations for three wealth management offices. In 1997, he joined the investment management firm Fiduciary Asset Management Co. as a Portfolio Manager. He attained Principal status in 2007 in recognition of his significant contributions in portfolio management, trading and research.
From 2011 to 2015, Mo served as CEO/Chief Investment Officer of Elephant Capital Advisors, an independent investment management firm. There, he provided executive and strategic leadership for portfolio management, investment research, trading, operational and business development teams. In 2016, he became a franchisee for Mathnasium of Creve Coeur, the leading franchised math learning center with 800+ locations worldwide.
Mo founded Supporting Strategies | St. Louis in 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
